An (unaffiliated) concept for a Lego Minifigure creation kiosk, combined with a Lego-themed photobooth.
Lego Custom was created in the Spring of 2024 as a project for my Wayfinding class. When asked to conceptualize, design, and prototype a kiosk that could be placed anywhere in the world and associated with any brand of our choosing, the openness of the assignment felt a little daunting at first. With this much creative freedom, where would I start?
The aspect that excited me most about this project was the ability to use an already established brand to create a kiosk for. For design projects in college we were typically required to come up with our own brand, logo, and overall branding feel for any project. But this particular project allowed for the freedom to use an existing brand to create a kiosk for.
