I set out to take these images as part of the process of creating my Annual Report Redesign. One of the things that I wanted to do with my Annual Report Redesign was to incorporate bright and vibrant imagery of spring blossoms and new growth. The idea behind this was to use these images as ways to signify a bright and exciting beginning to the new year, as annual reports both signify the ending of one year and the beginning of the other.
I set out on my photography quest with my Canon T5i, my tried and true DSLR, to Slater Park, my local park in Pawtucket. After a few hours of snapping dozens of photos, I went back home to look through them and choose my favorites. I did some light editing to the photos in Photoshop, mostly to make the colors pop more and to make things look a little...crispier.
